EXPERIENCED and COMMITMENT
Leaf and Stream Enviro, dba K&C Environmental Services, Inc., has been restoring wetlands, streams and forest tracts for over 25 years.
The principle partners of K&C, Stephen Koskella, Forest Resource Management, and Linda Chesney, Biologist, take hands-on involvement in all projects. Stephen Koskella served as a professional forester with the US Forest Service in Idaho and Alaska before specializing in stream and wetland restoration. Over the last 30 years, he has supervised stream rehabilitation projects throughout California, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. |
In addition to working with K&C Ms. Chesney acted as Stewardship Coordinator for North Mountain Park Nature Center for the last 15 years. She has been instrumental in developing and managing the Natural Area as well as overseeing a multitude of educational and instructional programs and classes.
Let us help serve your needs with our expertise. |
I worked with Steve Koskella on a challenging fish passage improvement project in urban Medford and found them to be conscientious and careful both in project development and operations, even as the project changed due to unforeseen circumstances. They had no problem handling the many aspects of a complicated in-stream restoration, from the scheduling to multiple contractors. I always appreciated K&C's flexibility and close attention to all aspects of a project.
I also worked with K&C on a stream channel restoration proposal, as well as contracting for riparian and vegetation development and management in a park along Bear Creek in Medford, Oregon. I was highly satisfied with their work and the working relationship. Frances Oyung, Coordinator Bear Creek Watershed Council |

As Stewardship Coordinator at North Mountain Park Nature Center, Linda Chesney balanced her extensive knowledge of natural resources and ecology with an innate understanding of people. She achieved amazing results in all her restoration efforts, oversaw ongoing monitoring and developed a comprehensive Natural Area Management Plan for North Mountain Park.
Through it all, Linda delivered restoration and sustainability recommendations with a perspective on education and public engagement. Her many achievements could only be accomplished by working collaboratively to empower partners, community members, volunteers and natural resource agencies. It is in this collaborative space that Linda excels. Libby VanWyhe, Manager North Mountain Park Natural Area |
